Luci was honored to have her work selected as one of RESA’s Top 10 Best Re-Designs of the Year North America by her peers in the 2014 Home Staging RESA Industry Awards. She was also awarded Top Vacant Stager of the Year 2015 by HSRA at their annual Summit. We love the work she has been putting out and how much she has grown over the last few years!
Learn more about Luci Terhune
I am: A certified home stager & RESA-Pro®. My name is Luci Terhune
Bungalow Home Staging & Redesign is: My staging company located in Northern NJ was founded in 2009.
I love staging because: Decorating & real estate are 2 of my passions and I get to create beautiful spaces every day!
My style is: A little bit of everything, but mostly modern with some glam touches.
Good staging should: Create an immediate emotional response for the buyer and not feel “too staged”. The right scale of furniture is crucial to show buyers how they will live in the space. Large comfortable sofas instead of love seats and large accent chairs invite buyers to sit down and mentally unpack.
Right now I’m obsessed with: Gold accents, the color indigo, fiddle leaf fig trees, boho rugs and large modern art.
Staging is: Here to stay and today’s #1 marketing tool to sell a property!
It’s my goal to: Educate realtors & sellers that staging is just not for high end properties! Staging is very effective with first time buyers since millennials are very visual.
My motto is: Life is short! Do what you love!
I love what I do because: I figured out later in life that I love having my own business and making things beautiful is all I ever wanted to do.
My biggest accomplishment this year has been: To move to a 5600 Sq ft warehouse to hold our ever growing inventory and hire 2 key employees to manage the growth and get us to the next level.
My favorite meal after a long day of staging is: Anything I did not have to cook myself! Lol
In the next 5 years Bungalow Home Staging & Redesign: Will hopefully continue to grow and I can take a step back and work more “On” the business instead of “In” the business and hopefully take more time off!
