For our annual service project, members of the Portland OR chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) and other local home stagers recently transformed the homes of two deserving families. We selected Raphael House of Portland to work with, a non-profit organization that provides families escaping domestic violence with emergency shelter, ongoing housing support and many other vital services.
Through the generous volunteer efforts and donations of sixteen local home staging companies, the homes of these two families received total makeovers on August 30, including new furnishings and accessories. Our two staging teams truly enjoyed meeting the family members and seeing their reactions when they returned to their completely re-designed homes! Here are some before and after photos of our service project:
It was an overwhelming feeling to witness firsthand how the collective talents and generosity of our local home stagers could positively impact the lives of these wonderful families, and we strongly encourage other home stagers throughout North America to find a local organization that serves the housing needs of their communities.
