Pippin Gilbert is an HSR Certified Home Stager and is passionate about home design. She is the founder of Tampa Staging and Design offering effective and reliable home staging services to help properties stand out from the competition, highlight the positive features, and ultimately, enhance the home owner’s return on investment.
Pippin has a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and worked in that field for many years before pursuing her dream of owning her own business in home staging.
“Just before I turned 40, I decided to make a career change. My mom, sister, and I flipped a house together and we enjoyed it so much! I started a staging business so we could continue working together. My mom is a contractor and my sister is a real estate agent.”
When asked why she chooses to support and be part of the Real Estate Staging Association, Pippin shares:
“I love connecting with other local stagers, sharing knowledge, and helping each other.”

Learn more about Pippin:
My motto is…
Go above and beyond!
My personal aesthetic is…
Cozy and comfortable.
I love staging because…
It is creative and challenging and in the end helps the seller to move on to the next phase of his/her life- hopefully more quickly and for a better ROI than they had anticipated.
When I am not working I enjoy…
Playing tennis, walking my Irish terrier, and spending time with my family.

Good staging should…
Help buyers to see the architectural features of the home, the natural light, and the other positive features of the home.
Right now I am obsessed with…
Iced coffee and Halloween candy.
My morning ritual is…
To hit the snooze button three times before jumping out of bed for breakfast.
In the next 5 years…
I hope to continue staging and doing some flipping as well.

My favorite meal after a long day of staging is…
Pizza.
My go to staging accessory is…
Faux air plants, hardback design books, candle sticks, baskets, lamps.
Who is your role model and why?
My mom because she accomplishes so much, knows how to manage time well, and is so generous.
When you are in a rut creatively where do you go or what do you do to get out of it?
I get inspired by other stagers/designers/architects/artists/etc by viewing their work online, through social media, or in design books.

What project are you really excited about right now and why?
Several upcoming new construction projects in Ybor City.
I am…
A believer that staging works!
