5 years ago as VP of Membership. This past year, I was the President.

To make a difference and to a help engage with my peers in the design & staging field. Also, no one else would step up to a leadership role.

Increased membership, added structure to our meetings & the use of delegation for programs & projects.
4. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?
Have patience. Realize your job is herding very creative cats. Just kidding – be open & listen. We’re all professionals and highly creative people – respect & validation to all.
5. What do you hope to see for the staging industry in the next 5 years?
Better training & not willy nilly made up certification programs. This will lead to more educated & professional stagers that will treat their business as more then a hobby, and price their services accordingly.
