For over a decade Shell has worked to advance professional and excellence in real estate staging by creating the trade association for professional real estate stagers, RESA. Through her work at RESA Shell has created, an Internationally recognized accreditation system for CORE business staging training providers, an MCE program for real estate agents, the home staging industry awards, RESACON annual conventions, RESA-Connect events, as well as a united network of professional real estate stagers that includes over 2,100 members, 50 chapters and 250 leaders.
Shell co-authored an Amazon’s best-seller: Home Staging: The Power That Sells Real Estate. The book is a guide to getting the best price for your property, whether you are a homeowner, agent or investor. This book covers the whole process, giving expert advice from professional home stagers. It also covers the wide range of houses that are on the market and how to appeal to the right kind of buyers for your home.

Gina always had a passion for real estate, construction and decorating so when she was offered a marketing position with StagedHomes.com she did not hesitate. Gina held many positions during her time with StagedHomes.com including Director of IAHSP and Vice President of Stagedhomes.com. Most precious to her was her experience working very closely with CEO, Barb Schwarz, credited with putting the home staging industry on the map.
After volunteering with RESA for several months in 2015, Gina’s focus shifted in how she wanted to serve the industry and made the transition from educational services to association management services and accepted a position with RESA. Tapping into her prior experience she quickly became focused on growing RESA chapters and working closely with leadership.
Gina is credited with streamlining the chapter formation process, improving board governance and increasing the number of local chapters by 194%. The process for starting a chapter has been streamlined to provide continual support by creating formal election processes and procedures, facilitating board orientations, updated leadership guides, strategic plannings, and keeping chapters compliant as corporations. Gina has oversight of all the different programs offered by RESA and the day to day operations of the organization, identifying resources to help RESA members with their business goals, bouncing ideas back and forth with CEO, Shell Brodnax, and contributing to the overall mission and growth of the organization.
