Cozy Corners is comprised of certified staging professionals who apply their understanding of current real estate market trends in order to elevate each homes perceived value and marketability. Regardless of price point, they believe that staging one’s house to sell serves as one of the greatest ROI’s, with many of the properties selling over list price and in shorter periods than their counterparts.
We pride ourselves in that we let each individual home’s characteristics drive the project and the staging style we aim to incorporate. We strive to give each staged home a personal touch that will leave a warm and lasting impression on homebuyers today.

Where do you draw inspiration from for your staging?
Everywhere! There are so many wonderful stagers out there to learn from. I learn with every stage.
Why did you decide to get into the staging industry?
I was unhappy in my corporate job. I had to break away from it, and my boyfriend suggested to do what I do all the time at home… rearrange furniture!
Tell us about your most rewarding staging job.
I am extremely critical of my work. There isn’t a single job where I walk away completely happy with the outcome. Having said that, there is one job that I pulled off in four days, unsure that I would, second guessing everything. But by the end of it, it turned out beautiful. It helps that my client was thrilled with my work and an absolute pleasure to work with.

How have your skillsets from your previous career transferred over to home staging?
I was a successful corporate professional for 20 years leading in business management. It taught me the value of creating and maintaining processes to create an efficient operation.
What’s your biggest pet peeve when it comes to working with clients?
They don’t value us and think we ought to stage their homes for free (that’s what it feels like sometimes). I hope to one day be more selective about who I work with and have certainly deleted a couple of contacts from my phone after finishing those projects.

What do you enjoy to do outside of work?
Relax. I work hard, and a lot. I don’t sit for long but when I do, I thoroughly enjoy it.
What is the next step in your career?
Growth. I’m definitely in growth mode, and this year I must ask myself to what extent I want to take this.
How did you come up with your business name?
My boyfriend coined it. It was a spur of the moment decision. Within five minutes, I decided to start a business and ordered my LLC on my iPhone, in front of the grocery store. Two days later, I resigned from my job.
