The 8 x 10 rug on the left is over $450.00. Creating the ‘look’ for less, the photo on the right (zoomed in so you can see what I did) is two 4.5 X 6 rugs butted up against each other. Each cost $39.95 to purchase.
They are actually softer than the one on the left, much more luxurious to walk on, and form the look of a large rug for much less. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on decor to get a luxe look. People will notice the overall impression of the room, not really the small details. I have had to point out the seam to many people when sharing this trick.
