Surveys can effectively help you grow your business when used with intention. Here are a few types of surveys that can help keep existing customers, and engage future ones as well.

 

Quality Control Surveys:

You can customize a survey in order to follow up after their home has sold. You can ask them about their experience, if their needs were met and how fast did their staged property get a contract. If working with staff, you can ask client interaction questions, such as quality control and overall satisfaction.

This can help grow your business, because your clients will see how much you care. It can help increase your referrals and repeat business.

Blog Topic Surveys:

Asking clients what they want to learn from you is a great way to increase business.  Blogging about topics they care about also shows that you care about them. Most importantly, it reinforces you as the expert. It also helps you hone in on areas where your client base may need more education, or you may be able to identify as service-based on certain types of topics.

Identify Potential Clients (Leads) Surveys:

This type of short survey can help you identify if clients have specific needs, or referrals for others who may need your services.

Fun and Game Surveys:

When actively using social media, game style surveys can capture the attention of existing and future clients. You can post a pic or a blog and turn it into a fun game. For example, like an online scavenger hunt or you can ask what they think about the new color of the year. This engages them in a less ‘sales’ tactic and is a creative interaction. This can help grow your business subtly.  How creative you are can show your skill set, that you are in tune with current trends and may give clients a sense of loyalty, in comparison to a competitor who is not doing anything.
