Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.
Reflecting With Minol Shamreen 2018 RESA Central Texas Chapter President-Elect
1. When did you get involved in leadership?
I got involved with the local RESA chapter board towards the end of 2016 to assist with the Treasurer’s role. I then served as the Treasurer in 2017. This year, in addition to being the Treasurer, I took on the role of President-Elect. I can’t wait to serve the chapter as the President in 2019.
2. What made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?
The prospect of being part of a team that makes a real difference, addresses real concerns, and one that strives to make a positive impact on the staging industry was appealing to me, and the experience has been amazing. It has been an honor & a privilege to serve on the RESA Central Texas Chapter board. The leadership team we have here is simply awesome!
3. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?
Our leadership team here makes a sincere effort to be inclusive and ensure that everyone is given a forum to be heard. That made me comfortable and I really didn’t have any problems, fears or concerns being involved with the team. The Central Texas – Austin teams I have worked in the past were all awesome … we worked so well together. Everyone does their part and more. I am so looking forward to an amazing 2019 with the new team.
