Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.
Reflecting With Adriana Torres RESA Greater Fort Myers Chapter Treasurer
1. When did you get involved in leadership?
In 2017
2. What made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?
After attending several RESA conferences in the past I realized about the importance that networking with colleagues has brought to my business. These conferences helped me change the mind set of seeing each other as “competition” and instead see the learning opportunities and growth that can be applied at an individual business level as well as an industry as a whole. The educational guidelines set by RESA are of tremendous value to the staging industry and being able to be part of the local implementation of the chapter was a great opportunity.
5. What do you hope to see for the staging industry in the next five years?
I would like to see more educated Buyers, Sellers and Real Estate Agents who appreciate the work we do and see the value in staging. I would love to see new stagers that know that their work, time and effort is valuable and that know how to price their services correctly so that it doesn’t hurt the rest of the industry. Since we are a relatively new industry, I would like to see more tools and systems available to help our us in our daily operations.
