Aimee Lopez Looks Back At 2018

Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.

Reflecting With Aimee Lopez RESA Miami Chapter President

1. When did you get involved in leadership?

I got involved with RESA leadership last year in October 2017.

2. What made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?

I have been trying ‘solo’ to advocate for staging since is one of the services from my interior design company, and I actually staged all of the properties I flipped back in 2006-2008 and noticed that the biggest success for me was the fact that I staged them.

3. What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time in RESA leadership?

I am very happy to see other women empowered to reinvent themselves and starting their own staging business. Also, I am happy to see how the Miami realtor’s association opened the doors for us to teach about staging.

4. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?

It is a wonderful way to network with b2b, realtors, and sellers.

5. What do you hope to see for the staging industry in the next 5 years?

My dream as volunteering for the RESA Miami Chapter is to have planted a nurtured seed for future leaders to keep advocating and promoting our staging business. I want Miami to become a city where realtors are proud of their professionalism and we as stagers play a huge role in the process.
