Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.
Reflecting With Amy Dennison 2018 RESA Greater Nashville Chapter Treasurer
1. When did you get involved and what made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?
I had recently completed my EPS certification and had learned about RESA. I knew I needed support from other women in the community who were in the home staging business, if I was to put myself out there as a home stager!
I volunteered to be a part of the group, and I am glad because I’ve learned so much from these talented women (and one man)!
2. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?
My advice to anyone considering RESA as a volunteer option and as a support for their business: Don’t miss this opportunity! Working with other home stagers helps EVERYONE and the industry as a whole, and the industry needs us so that we all become more and more relevant and we keep standards high!
3. What do you hope to see for the staging industry in the next 5 years?
I hope in the next five years that staging becomes the “new normal” and that realtors come to recommend staging to their clients as a “must do.” I know in some larger markets many realtors won’t consider listing a home without staging. That would be wonderful for Nashville!
