Where do you recommend spending advertising dollars?

I don’t recommend advertising your staging business through traditional advertising methods- i.e. placing ads in newspapers, magazines, etc. they are old and outdated.

It is imperative to have an amazing website, hire someone who does this. If you attempt on your own and you are not a website pro you will get a DIY look and that is not professional and it will come across that way to potential clients. Make sure it has proper SEO. Get in Google places/business. Link your site to all of your social media channels. Blog about each project showing the after photos only. Cross post to social media.

Get on social media and create a social media calendar.

Market directly to agents and home owners. You can use RedFin or just about any other real estate websites to look for properties that have been on the market an extended period of time. Send them an AMAZING flyer. It must be amazing. The flyer should state the question has your home/listing been on the market X number of days (however long theirs is on the market) with no offers? Your company name can help! We staged this listing and it sold for X over list price in X days. Call today!  Send a series increasing the number of days to reflect their listing.

Hold workshops or teach a continuing education class for agents. Presenting yourself as an expert will attract clients. Post a schedule on your website and create amazing marketing collateral to promote your class. Always represent yourself as the utmost professional. If you meet the requirements you can apply to become a RESA Approved Instructor here.

Attend real estate agent meetings through the local association of realtors or Women’s Council of Realtors. Get involved, attend meetings and/or join a committee. Become one of them.
