Everybody defines leadership differently but I really like the way John C Maxwell defines leadership, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” Irrespective of how you define a leader, he or she can prove to be a difference maker between success and failure. A good leader has a futuristic vision and knows how to turn his ideas into real-world success stories.
We as a community can combine our strengths and be an industry disrupter by empowering our members to be and achieve more.
The Real Estate Staging Association’s Board of Directors are seeking (1) Secretary and (3) Committee Members to serve on the Leadership and Professional Development Committee
The Leadership and Professional Development Committee members should have some or all of these personal and business skillsets:
- Has worked as a home stager and been in business for 5 or more years
- Has previously served on a committee either for business or community
- Have a commitment and are passionate about our home staging industry
- Interested in raising the bar and make a positive change in the Home Staging Industry
- Is honest and operates with integrity in business and deals fairly with others
- Your actions inspire others to dream more, become more, learn more and do more
- What to grow and be the change within your own business

Our RESA Awards Committee Has Openings (5 Openings total – including a Chair, and Secretary)
They review and enhance industry award opportunities, categories and rules for the purpose of recognizing real estate staging mastery.
They are looking for a RESA Member who may identify with some of the following descriptions:
- A RESA member who is a rising star (an up and coming entrepreneur)
- A successful stager focusing on services more than vacant listings
- A Canadian stager

The RESA Canadian Committee Is Seeking Two New Members
Qualifications:
- Min 1 year in business
- Must have business insurance and registered HST #
- Must be able to attend a minimum of 80% of meetings (meetings are held monthly – date/time to be selected by committee vote)
- Must actively participate in tasks as well as on-going discussions (may include membership phone calls/emails, vendor contacts, online discussion initiation, etc.)
