Cortney Stone Looks Back On Her Time In RESA Leadership

Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.

Reflecting With Cortney Stone Of The RESA Greater Tampa Bay 2018 Board

1. When did you get involved in leadership?

I got involved about 5 years ago, within a few months of becoming certified and starting my own business.

2. What made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?

The local chapter where I lived at the time really pushed me to join. They needed help and told me that it would help me get my business going. They were right! I am glad that I jumped in initially and put myself out there. I was sent referrals and it really helped to have senior stagers on the board mentor me as well.

3. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?

If you’re even considering it…DO IT! Jump in. Trust me, you have nothing to lose and so much to gain.
