Feature Friday At RESA HQ With Natalie Lorenz

Natalie Lorenz of Decorus Home Staging is a shining star, every project she puts her hands on turns out gorgeous! We wanted to get to know Natalie a little bit better…. Check out what she has to say about her business, what she is obsessed with right now and her goals below.

I am a: Wife to my amazing husband and my biggest cheerleader, Shane, Mom to two beautiful young girls, 2 golden retrievers and the most awesome cat ever! I am a business owner who wants nothing more than to be successful.  I am strong, driven, creative and to my family…I AM WONDER WOMAN!

Decorus Home Staging is: A young boutique real estate home staging business in Snohomish, WA.  We specialize in vacant home stagings for the Puget Sound.

I love staging because: Of the impact my ideas can do to help transform a space.  Staging is like painting a picture for the potential buyers. I love it when I have a great blank canvas to start with and make a space come to life and show its potential.

My style is: My personal style is casual, simple, and elegant.  When it comes to staging, I definitely like to use a style that I am comfortable with, but I am also not afraid of stepping outside my comfort zone. More often than not, I surprise myself with how much I love the end product, even when I start off not being comfortable with the style.

Good staging should: 1. Create catalog worthy photographs and 2. Make the buyer fall in love with the home the minute they walk in the door!

Right now I’m obsessed with:  Green velvet sofas! They ooze understated sophistication!  I am waiting for the right time to buy and use one!!

Staging is: Hard work, fun, challenging, inspiring, satisfying and a perfect creative outlet.

It’s my goal to: Build a hugely successful company that I can leave to my girls if they wish to receive it.  My six year old has already expressed interest in helping me on my next staging!……… (When she is 10…in her own words!) I am hoping the enthusiasm stays alive for many years to come!

My motto is: If in doubt, then no!

I love what I do because: I feel like I have traveled a wonderful journey over the last 12 years after moving to the United States. Each step of the way has brought me to where I am today…..   doing what I am meant to be doing!! I feel beyond blessed that I get to show my girls that if you put in hard work and use your unique talents, you can create beautiful things and if you so choose, have a successful, profitable business.  I love that owning a staging business allows me to be free, to be me and channel my creativity in an impactful way!
