It’s Feature Friday at RESA HQ and this week we are featuring the work of Katie King of HOMEmade Designs who has only been in business for a year and a half, but is producing amazing quality work! We cannot wait to see what her future holds for her!

I am a: Home stager and re-designer, my business name is HOMEmade DESIGNS

I love staging because: I love creating inviting spaces that make people instantly feel at home and help them to fall in love with each property we do.

My style is: Varied, however I am most known for the modern farmhouse look.

Good staging should: Allow the homes best features to shine through, while creating a picture perfect space for everyone to easily envision themselves living in.

Right now I’m obsessed with: all of hobby lobby’s new farmhouse decor. There is a wonderful mix of soft neutrals, rustic wood and metals.

Staging is: Absolutely necessary. Even in the hottest market where houses sell in a day, if the home has not been staged or had a consult done to best showcase the home, the seller loses the possibility of a much higher asking/sales price. All homes are more desirable with staging.

It’s my goal to: Help each client present their home at its best through home staging consults and home staging. I strive to give the best service I know how and be personable to each any every one. Building relationships and creating successful outcomes.

My motto is: “Because happiness begins at home”

I love what I do because: I am passionate about my work and love designing. I work with one of my best friends and create masterpieces with each job. It is rewarding, fulfilling, and so much fun!
