I am: Angie McCoy….child of God, wife, mother, stager/designer, loyal friend, lover of food, honest to a fault, and all things Southern. I love to shop, visit with family and friends, but my favorite thing is when I get to vacation on the beaches of 30A in South Walton, FL. It is my happy place.
Evergreen Staging & Design is: Enduringly Fresh. Always Current. Never Outdated. Family. Evergreen has changed my life and I love my job. I am so blessed to work with such an amazing group of people that I consider family.
I love staging because: I get to pursue my passion of design. We create a “home” where before there was only a “house” by bringing in the right furniture, art and accessories that makes that personal connect with the buyer.
My style is: comfortable and cozy. I love rich colors and textures, lots of pillows and blankets, greenery, art that is bold, special touches and quality furnishings.
Good staging should: tell a story. It should speak to that potential buyer. Show the capabilities of the room and pull at their heart. The buyer should be able to envision themselves and their family in that home and say “I want this”.
Right now I’m obsessed with: finding the best floor plants. We love to add greenery to our stages, but it’s so hard to find the right tree or plant that looks real without breaking the bank.
Staging is: essential in the selling process of a home. It brings to life a home that would otherwise look tired and/or forgotten.
It’s my goal to: deliver quality service through the entire process of placing a property in the best possible light. We do this by capturing the buyer’s attention from the moment they walk in the door to make an emotional connection.
My motto is: Anything worth having is worth working for……so get it done!
I love what I do because: I get to create something new everyday. I never get bored and I never know what the day will bring. I’m not tied to a desk and I get to meet all kinds of people.
My biggest accomplishment this year has been: The accomplishments at Evergreen have been a group effort. We have the absolute best team in the industry. We have been blessed with outstanding repeat clients that can’t live without the “Evergreen Effect” and new ones that LOVE the products and tell others. We stage homes all over Dallas/Ft Worth and then some. We help clients with listings in the $100k to $1mil + with consultations, vacant staging and occupied staging. Our team never says “no” or “it can’t be done”. We work to produce excellence…always.
My favorite meal after a long day of staging is: Mexican food, it’s Texas, after all. 😉
In the next 5 years: wherever God takes us! I will follow Him.
My favorite song right now: Don’t have a favorite one right now. I love all kinds of music.
