Get To Know Tanya
I am: A perfectionist, always striving to be the best I can be. I am a wife and mother to a gorgeous 3-year-old boy and 4-month-old baby girl. I am the owner of Brilliant Staging & Home Design, and a friend to my clients. I never stop learning, never stop growing and always give credit where credit is due.
Brilliant Staging & Home Design is: A fresh, new, up and coming Home Staging and Interior Design company. We specialize in staging and design consultations, Vacant Staging and Occupied Staging. Each and every home we stage is unique, as is our staging.
I love staging because: it allows me to express my creativity and love for design in a way that pleases others. I love seeing the look on people’s faces when they see our staging transformation and later hearing about their selling success. I love to meet new people and do everything in my power to make them happy. Interior design and decorating has always been a huge passion of mine; always transforming friend’s and family’s homes since I was a young girl. Now I get to do it for a living.
My style is: Fresh, current and eclectic. I can work with any style to suit the architecture of the home, and the target audience. No matter the type of home, my style always shows through as clean, neat, creative and trendy. By using fun accessories and beautiful furniture I am able to inspire emotion in buyers.
Good staging should: display the best potential of a home. It should be warm and inviting causing buyers to fall in love and immediately build a connection with the home. It should make buyers view the home as their own and not as the sellers. Good staging should sell the home not the décor.
Right now I’m obsessed with: Blues- teal, light blue, dark navy blue etc. Using it as an accent color through furniture and accessories. I am also obsessed with lots of white, beautifully put together trays, fur and using different textures and materials to tell a story.
Staging is: an art. It takes someone with great attention to detail and an understanding of style and architecture to master this art. Staging is an important part of selling a home.
It’s my goal to: educate the public about the importance of staging. To also build a lasting reputation of success in selling homes and great customer service. Selling a home is a stressful journey; it is my goal to take some of that stress off the hands of the sellers and awe them with the results.
My motto is: Do what you love and others will love what you do.
I love what I do because: it is fun and exciting. It is ever-changing and no job is the same as the last. I am able to utilize my creativity, leadership skills and professionalism while doing something I enjoy. Transforming spaces and making, even the least attractive homes, look gorgeous is what I live for.
My biggest accomplishment this year has been: Our business more than quadrupled from 2016 to 2017. We are so excited to see what 2018 will bring.
