Helen Bartlett will continue to act as RESA’s Kansas State President, over the years she has worked hard to grow the presence of RESA in Kansas and is excited to announce that they had their first official RESA Kansas City Regional Chapter meeting, in November, which was a great success!
We love the story about how Helen found out about RESA because you can really see how passionate she is about this industry, and organization.
I, myself learned about RESA thru my husband on his flight back to Kansas City several years ago. He sat next to a home stager from Chicago on his flight and proceeded to tell her I was a home stager as well. She insisted that I check out RESA’s website as soon as I could. My husband came home and asked me if I had ever heard of RESA. I hadn’t so he told me to check out the website. From that moment on, I realized what a great organization it was with education, support and information on how to create the best version of myself through professionalism and excellence. I was committed to it from that moment and joined immediately. I still have the same passion when I think about RESA and am committed to making sure everyone who is in this industry has a chance to learn about RESA and hopefully participate. I often think if my husband wasn’t on that flight, that day, how much time would have passed before I learned of RESA. I’m still grateful for that day and that woman, whomever she is! I think when you are passionate about what you do, it’s easy for people to trust you and believe in what your are doing by seeing the benefits for themselves. There isn’t a stager or real estate agent I’ve met who couldn’t benefit from being part of this organization, no matter what level or experience or knowledge they have currently.
Helen has mentored and trained several interior design students and staging interns, who’ve reached out to her when they were struggling to get started. She learned by doing this she found great joy in giving them guidance by creating marketing plans that will help them grow their own business.Her love for mentoring coupled with her decisive nature and leadership skills will continue to help grow the RESA family in Kansas.
As the Kansas State President Helen has two goals;
1) Growing membership in RESA chapters and planting new RESA chapters.
2) Improving the quality of home staging, promoting home staging professionals among the real estate industry.
