The 2018 RESA Jacksonville Chapter President-Elect Reflects

Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.

Reflecting With June Carter RESA Jacksonville Chapter President-Elect


1. When did you get involved in leadership, and what inspired you to do so?

A year ago at a Jacksonville Chapter meeting an announcement was made asking for members to step up and be on the board. I decided that I had to give back to the group that gave so much to me and I volunteered.

2. What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time in RESA leadership?
I am most proud of implementing the RESA Affiliate program for the Jacksonville chapter and getting our first affiliate member.

3. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?
Being in RESA leadership created connections, friends, resources and help be part of the foundation that will endure that the RESA Jacksonville chapter is strong and continues into the future.

4. What do you hope to see for the staging industry in the next 5 years?
Education of the home selling public about Home Staging is crucial for the growth and continuity of the staging industry. Education of Home Stagers is critical for consistent high quality staging projects. So, I hope to see more education for both Home Stagers and Home Sellers.
