Kera Cherrey Reflects on 2018

Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.

Reflecting With Kera Cherrey RESA Greater Capital Area Chapter’s VP of Membership

1. When did you get involved in leadership?

I was the founding President of the RESA Greater Capital Area Chapter in 2016.

2. What made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?

Visibility and credibility! However, I stage in a more rural area, so it was also nice to be able to meet up with other stagers!

3. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?

Being a member of leadership shows those within, and outside of RESA (think REALTORS) that you are a dedicated member of the staging community. Although I have college degree in interior design, I have no formal staging training, and so the link to the staging community that you might receive elsewhere just wasn’t there for me. RESA provided that link to a great community.
