Get to know the RESA Greater Capital Area Chapter Leaders a little better! They meet the first Wednesday of every month if your’e looking for a local chapter to join!
Kera Cherrey, RESA Greater Capital Area Chapter President, believes in “Community Over Competition” (Taken from The Rising Tide Society); which is why she believes every chapter meeting should include a chance for every Stager to introduce themselves.
One of her goals is to strongly encourage members of the chapter to network after meetings. To support this Kera plans on announcing topics in advance of the meeting so that stagers may come prepared to share their experience.
Another one of Kera’s goals within the RESA Greater Capital Area Chapter is to host Real Estate Mixers: She believes the “Real Estate and REI industries are our ticket to success. The more we can include, invite or otherwise work with realtors(R), the more we have a chance to grow our own businesses! Realtors(R) are the ones that advertise for us one-on-one to their listing agents. Investors are our bread-and-butter incomes! “
When asked about her leadership style Kera describes herself as someone who loves input, developing the suggestions of others and someone who can delegate. She believes “Nobody can do it themselves. We all thrive when leaders can encourage others to use their talent for the good of all.”
