RESA 2019 Elections Are Here!

Each year qualifying members of RESA are given the opportunity to run for leadership positions within our organization. National, State and Local Elections are right around the corner for the Real Estate Staging Association.

RESA’s leadership structure consists of roughly fifty Chapters, State and Provincial Presidents and a National Board of Directors throughout North America. RESA provides leadership opportunities for our members in an effort to further the professional development of our members and the industry as a whole.

5 unexpected ways serving on a Local or National Board may benefit you

1. You get a valuable seat behind the wheel of a major organization, and you play a key role in strategizing. When you serve on a local or national board, you have the honor, challenge, and responsibility of understanding how everything needs to work together for an organization to accomplish its goals.

2. You will expand your professional network. When you serve on a board with leaders who are passionate about making new connections, you will be able to expand your existing community of friends and colleagues, adding influential people with different backgrounds and insights.

3. Support initiatives that resonate with you. Nonprofit boards  provide an excellent opportunity to positively affect change. Our mission at RESA is advancing professionalism and excellence in real estate staging by creating industry standards in order to maximize profit potential for consumers and industry professionals. When you serve on a Local or National Board, you have the chance to be a part of that mission firsthand.

4. You will grow as a leader. You’ll work with professionals from a variety of backgrounds, giving you the chance to hone your leadership skills. On top of mastering your leadership skills you will have the chance to fine-tune other invaluable professional development skills like public speaking, strategic planning, and conflict management to name a few.

5. Reinvigorate your career. Sharing your expertise and knowledge with other home staging professionals gives you a chance to make a difference in someones business, and even their personal lives. Working alongside people who are passionate about the staging industry can help motivate you to take your business to the next level!
