RESA Connect will be an annual event connecting top producing & wholesale purchasing stagers with the industry’s best wholesale buying options and higher level education. RESA Connectwill include educational sessions, networking, and access to the RESA Buying Group vendors.

RESA is proud to announce that the AmericasMart in Atlanta will be the home of RESA Connect in the United States and will be held February 28 and March 1, 2019.

RESA is proud to announce that the Toronto International Design Centre will be the home of RESA Connect in Toronto Jan 21-22, 2019.

RESA Connect is seeking speakers on advanced topics such as, but not limited to:

  • Alternative Revenue Streams for the Established Stager
  • Succession Planning- When to Delegate and Promote Within
  • Hiring, Firing, Workmen’s Comp, 1099…and All Things Human Resources
  • Encouraging and Training the Talent Within Your Company
  • Building a Team That Can Function Without You
  • How to Retire a Millionaire
  • Developing an Exit Strategy: How to Set Up Your Staging Business for a Potential Sale
  • Loan or Investor-How to Generate Capital to Scale Your Business
  • The Pros and Cons of Adding Staff and Best Practices for Success as
  • Your Business Grows
  • Anything Design Related
  • Best Practices When Buying Wholesale
  • How to Work With Builders
  • What You Need to Know In Order to Add Design/Decorating to Your Business
  • Inventory & Warehouse Game Changers
  • Identifying Growing Pain Challenges & Solutions
  • Management Development
  • Any topic that would be considered advanced in nature or for the seasoned or top producing stager

Please include:

  1. Please indicate which event you are submitting for: RESA Connect Atlanta or RESA Connect Toronto.
  2. A formal outline of your suggested topic and all areas to be included.
  3. The topic title, a paragraph describing your class, and at least 3
  4. Learning Objectives.
  5. Please indicate why you are qualified to be considered an Expert on this topic
  6. A speaker bio. This will be used on our website to promote your class if your class is chosen.
  7. A speaker demo is required if you’ve never presented at a RESA convention. NOTE: A speaker demo is a video and should be long enough for the committee to get a sense of your speaking style. If your video exists on the Internet, please include a link. Note: Speaker demos are required from everyone except for previous RESA convention speakers.
  8. Your submission should be submitted in WORD. Please use proper grammar and punctuation in all of your submissions. If your topic is chosen, this information will be used to promote your class. Please name your WORD document with your first name, last name and presentation title.

In exchange for speaking, RESA members who are selected will receive an event ticket and one-year of RESA membership as compensation.

Restrictions: Presentations that are “sales pitches” will be rejected. Presentations must give valuable information to attendees and not be oriented to sell any products or services.

Speakers are required to have handouts for the attendees. No exceptions.

Time Frame:
Each speaker has 75-minutes to conduct their class.

Deadline to Submit: October 15, 2018; submissions after this date will not be accepted.
