On November 6th the RESA Metro Detroit Chapter held their meeting at Habitat for Humanity Restore Livingston County, where they merchandised their furniture inventory. The group of stagers from Michigan created several rooms so clients of the store got a better idea of how to use items.
Three big shout-outs from the Chapter President Deborah Barone
1. Nancy Whyte of Whyte House Staging. She repurposed a brass headboard and foot board. She painted it black, and it sold immediately for nearly double the original price. She also repurposed several cabinet doors. The Restore will use these to demonstrate how to repurpose.
2. President-Elect Allie Milus made stickers of our chapter logo, that we all placed on our back to identify our members.
3. Brad Ziemer, real estate photographer CEO of Windowstills. He came and got to work. He took many photographs, which will follow at a later date.
Thanks to all our RESA members that participated.
A word from Allie Milus President-Elect
We all loved working together at the ReSTORE.. creating a showroom to show arrangement and function. Our goal was to increase sales for the Livingston County ReSTORE .. and it worked! Staging works for any environment. It adds aesthetic and financial value. THANK YOU Habitat for Humanity Restore Livingston County.. we were honored to Give Back to our Community. We appreciate your hospitality and graciousness. We’ll be back!
