Sandy Riedal Reflects On 2018

Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.

Reflecting With Sandy Riedal RESA Greater Fort Myers Chapter President-Elect

1. When did you get involved in leadership?

2017

2. What made you decide to get involved in RESA leadership?

Our chapter, which started in 2016, needed volunteers who were interested in starting from the ground up to organize, promote and market for members in our area of Southwest Florida. I decided that it would be an exciting opportunity to be part of a new chapter in a relatively new industry, so I stepped up to the challenge.

3. What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time in RESA leadership?

I am most proud of my recent transition from President-Elect to President. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to keep our chapter moving forward into its 2nd year. I am looking forward to growing our membership and educating and promoting the home staging industry in the greater Fort Myers area.

4. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?

Give it a try! Don’t be afraid of making a mistake or being “too new” to the industry. A good RESA leader needs someone who is willing to make a difference and interested in promoting and growing the staging industry in their market.

5. What do you hope to see for the staging industry in the next 5 years?

I would like to see home staging become just as common place as painting or new carpet is preparing a house for sale!
