RESA Board of Director Candidacy
RESA is accepting candidates to fill three of the five board of director positions. The deadline to submit your application is October 15th, 2016. To assure diverse member representation at the BOD level, one position will be reserved for a member of Canada.

Melissa Marro, President of the Board and Karen Otto, Director will remain on RESA’s BOD and are looking forward to collaborating with the oncoming board members.
The Position
The board of directors ensures that RESA is operating in accordance with it’s mission, values, goals and bylaws through decision making, financial oversight and governance. Board members vote on major decisions pertaining to revision of bylaws and serves as an advisor to RESA’s operating team when necessary. Each of the three open director positions are for a term of two years. Once the director positions have been filled, the governing board will then elect three officer positions from among its directors at the annual board meeting (RESACON2017).
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of five years experience in the real estate staging industry.
- Candidates must be a RESA member prior to being considered.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate a passion for the industry and RESA’s mission, values and goals.

The Real Estate Staging Association® (RESA®), a 501 c 6 tax-exempt organization, is the trade association for professional home stagers. RESA® is the portal to the staging industry and is the source of education and business tools focusing on the needs of stagers. RESA welcomes all stagers and redesigners regardless of their backgrounds, designation and affiliations.
