Every year, RESACON® brings together hundreds of home staging professionals from across North America for a few unforgettable days of education, networking, inspiration, and connection.
What many attendees do not always see is the incredible group of volunteers working behind the scenes to help create that experience.
If you are attending RESACON® 2026 and looking for a meaningful way to get more involved, meet more people, and feel even more connected to the community, volunteering may be one of the best decisions you make during the event.
Meet the RESACON® 2026 Volunteer Leadership Team
This year myself (Yolanda Tillman, AKA “Yo”) and the RESACON® Volunteer Chair, Michelle Shreve-Stroud, are leading the volunteer experience and support the many moving parts that help make RESACON® successful year after year.
Volunteers play an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and memorable experience for attendees, sponsors, speakers, and industry guests.
From helping with registration to greeting attendees, answering questions, assisting with room flow, and supporting event logistics, volunteers help keep the event running smoothly while becoming an important part of the RESACON® experience itself.
Why Volunteer?
Volunteering at RESACON® is about more than helping out.
It is one of the easiest ways to meet people quickly, especially if this is your first RESACON® or if you are attending on your own.
Many long-term friendships and professional connections within RESA® started because someone decided to volunteer.
You become part of a team. You naturally interact with more attendees. You get to know leaders and members from different chapters. And you become more connected to the staging community in a very real way.
For many members, volunteering becomes part of the RESACON® tradition.
What Volunteer Roles Might Include?
Volunteer opportunities may include:
- Assisting with attendee registration
- Greeting attendees and helping create a welcoming environment
- Badge checking
- Helping attendees navigate the event spaces
- Supporting breakout sessions and event logistics
- Sharing general event information
Whether you are outgoing and energetic or organized and detail-oriented, there is likely a volunteer role that fits your strengths.
A Community Built by Members
RESA® is a nonprofit trade association built by the industry, for the industry.
Throughout the year, hundreds of RESA® members volunteer their time locally and nationally to support chapters, education, leadership initiatives, and industry growth.
RESACON® is no different.
The event would not be possible without members willing to step in, contribute, and help create an experience that benefits the entire staging community.

Important Information Before You Apply
Volunteers must already be registered attendees of RESACON® 2026.
