Wendy Black Reflects On 2018

Being involved in a Leadership position for the Real Estate Staging Association allows you to get involved with your local staging community, while making a difference in the home staging industry. RESA Headquarters is so thankful for those leaders who are making way in their communities and dedicating their time and knowledge to advance professionalism and excellence in real estate staging.

Reflecting With Wendy Black 2018 RESA Kitchener-Waterloo Chapter President

1. When and why did you get involved in leadership?
In 2017 I got involved in leadership, I had no desire to become involved but was encouraged by Alana Merritt.

2. What are you most proud of accomplishing during your time in RESA leadership?

Getting the word out about RESA to new home stagers in the area.

3. What advice do you have for others who are interested in being involved with RESA leadership?

It is very rewarding and doesn’t take up as much personal time as people assume it does.

4. What was your favorite chapter meeting this year?

November’s meeting where there were no guest speakers, just the membership. Lot’s of great conversation and laughter….always laughter!

5. Did you face any fears while being involved with leadership and if so how did you handle them?

None, however there will come a time when I will face my fear of thunderstorms….and speedos.
