Benchmarking is an important tool for every business, organization and industry. As the industry trade association for home stagers, RESA® is compiling statistical information and industry data to publish an annual State of the Industry Report.
RESA®’s State of the Industry Report will be an important tool for stagers when making critical business decisions, and also helps us at RESA® create programs and resources for home stagers of all levels start and/or grow their business. All stagers are encouraged to participate.
This survey is divided into three parts: Standard Practices, Industry Legitimacy, and Staffing. Some of the questions you can expect to answer are:
- What is your business model with regard to inventory?
- What percentage of your business comes from a real estate agent contacting you?
- If inflation caused you to increase your rates, how much did you raise them?
- How much do you invest in continuing education classes for yourself each year?
- Do you think stagers should have continuing education requirements?
- Have you experienced more difficulty than normal in retaining and recruiting workers in 2021?
We also recommend having access to your payroll records and accounting system or reports such as a Statement of Activity or P&L. Please answer all questions honestly and as accurately as possible. You may answer questions at your convenience and come back to the survey to complete it anytime prior to February 1, 2022.
Participants who answer all survey questions will receive a copy of the published State of the Industry Report at no cost as well as be entered for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY:
Data submitted is used solely by Real Estate Staging Association for the State of the Industry Report and related research. The final report will publish only aggregate data so that no information can be identified as coming from a specific organization or person. The final report will be made available for purchase for people who did not contribute.
Real Estate Staging Association does not share, rent or sell information from or about survey participants or purchasers to any person or organization.
