RESA® Elves In San Antonio Texas

On Tuesday, December 5th The RESA San Antonio Chapter had the privilege of serving the less fortunate families in the county by participating as volunteer “elves” for the Elf Louise Christmas Project.

Elf Louise Christmas Project is a non-profit effort that was founded by Louise Locker in 1969, as a grassroots effort to provide a bit of christmas cheer to the underprivileged children of the community.

The RESA® San Antonio chapter members represented only a handful of the thousands of volunteer “elves” who showed up to hand select and wrap over 60,000 presents, which were all donated or funded by private and corporate sponsors alike.

RESA San Antonio members were able to wrap and package two presents for each child in each of the many families that were assigned to our group. It was such a beautiful and moving experience to be part of this labor of love that embodies the true spirit of christmas!

The RESA San Antonio chapter plans to continue a tradition of serving the local community through this organization and others throughout the year.
