Please tell us why you would be a good candidate for this position.
I have been in real estate as an agent and broker for over 15 years here in NC, and have been helping with staging and remodeling throughout that time; including attending Interior Design school in Chicago. However, my Consulting firm has only been in business for less than 4 years; in which time we have been successful in assisting in the sale of almost $9M in real estate transactions.
Please list two initiatives you would like to focus on during your term if elected.
- Expanding the training and certification of RESA
- Working with the REA to advocate Real Estate Staging as a legitimate career path and not just a “hobby”
Please tell us about any professional contributions you have made to the industry.
Throughout my time as a member of RESA, which began when I started my business years ago, I have been advocating with the real estate agents in my local market to establish Home Staging as another service Sellers need, just like a home inspection.
Describe your leadership experience.
I am currently an elected member of my University’s Alumni Association which represents over 120,000 living alumni of the University. I am also on the Alumni Advisory Board of my fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha as they have reestablished themselves and our chapter as a leader within the Greek Life community.
