One of RESA’s Regional Vice Presidents and Local Dallas Chapter President, Karen Otto did an extraordinary staging on this home that just turned 101 years old. RESA member Lance Selgo, co-owner and photographer of Unique Exposure Photography did a phenomenal job capturing images to showcase the beauty of it all.
One episode was titled “Investor Quick Flip” which was a house in the Brookside area of Tulsa. The photos show our staging magic for this house on St. Louis Avenue. As you can see, we liked the family room shot so much we made it our “hero” shot on our Facebook page and our new business cards.
The second episode of the HGTV series, Flipping the Heartland was “Team Flip” featuring a house in the Woodland Hills area of Tulsa. Grace and I can be seen on camera doing some initial staging work. In addition, two Realtor friends, Liz Fugate and Barbara Senn, are shown during the open house. We hope that you can see this episode when it airs again as we are very proud of our staging.”

“I met with the owners of a house in Dallas, TX who had a semi-vacant home on the market since December 2014. The home was listed un staged and not professionally photographed. It lingered for months and the sellers, who lived out of the area had enough. They researched staging companies locally in Dallas after having asked their agent to find one for them (2 months prior to my meeting with them) and he said that he “couldn’t find one” so they found one themselves, me.” [Read more…]

When Jessica Johnson contacted me about creating a color scheme for a high-end new build, I didn’t have to sell her on the importance of the right paint colors and color placement. She had already experienced the dramatic difference the right color palette made in staging to sell in her own home in 2013. Using on-trend colors, we transformed her dark, rustic ranch home with dark paneling into a light-filled dream cottage for the new owners, who snatched it up as soon as it hit the market. This time, she called me in to consult on a high-end new build in Williamson County.

A new record for the area,” says Red. Kuudos to Red! What a great testimonial to the power of staging.
